Meeree Lee

Meeree Lee, who studied Jewelry Design at Hiko Mizuno College of Jewelry in Tokyo and obtained her Master’s degree at MASieraad in PXL-MAD in Hasselt, works with jewelry and objects to reflect on lineage, identity, and the quiet tension between decision and hesitation. Born into a family of jewelers, she engages with traditional jewelry forms through a contemporary lens, allowing jewelry, a medium rarely characterized as humble, to take on gentler gestures. Her practice continues to develop in Antwerp, where she is currently based. Her pieces invite slow attention, leaving room for ambiguity and long conversations that unfold over time.
